Pay rules apply to displayed and exported hours only. Raw punch times are always kept exact in the database, so any rule can be changed or turned off without losing data. Settings are shared across all devices.

Punch-time rounding

Rounds each clock-in and clock-out to the nearest interval (neutral nearest-mark rule). Auto-clocked and estimated punches are left exact.

If someone clocks out within the window before the scheduled end, they're paid to the scheduled end (the unused paid afternoon break). Clock-outs at or after the scheduled end are never reduced.
